What are your support hours and response time?

Our support hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central European Time (CET), Monday through Friday. We strive to get back to you within 6 business hours and to complete most of the task within one business day. If a complex task requires more time, we will promptly let you know. We speak English, Spanish and Italian.

What happens after the purchase?

After we receive a successful payment from you, you will receive an email with further instructions. You will have to fill a quick onboarding form and create an administrator account for us in you WordPress website. Typically everything is up and running within 2 business days.

Do you support more than one website?

All support plans are for one WordPress website only, but you can purchase as many plans as you need. If you are a web agency, you have more than one website, or you have different needs, get in touch and ask about our Partner Program, we can take care of (almost) anything WordPress related.

Can I change my plan after I sign up?

Absolutely! From the Customer Portal you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscriptions. If you cancel within 30 days from your purchase you will get a full refund, otherwise you will get a prorated refund for the unused months. Refunds are issued within 3 business days from the request.

What is your refund policy?

We have a “30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked.” policy on all our subscription plans. Ask for a refund or cancel your subscription from the Customer Portal. Refunds are issued within 3 business days from the request.

Can I restore a previous backup?

Of course! You can restore a previous backup of your website, for any reason, at any time, and completely for free by filing a request. We store incremental backups of your website for 90 days.

What if an update breaks my website?

We always try to ensure compatibility before we do any update, but sometimes the results are unexpected and things can break. In those rare cases, we immediately roll-back to the last working backup and contact the plugin or theme author so they can work on patching the issue.

What if I get hacked?

It’s uncommon for an updated WordPress website to get hacked, but if it happens we immediately roll-back to the last clean backup of your website as soon as we know it and we make sure that it won’t happen again. Purchasing a “WOptimize Enterprise” plan will ensure top-level security for your website.

What are up-time monitoring, security and performance checks for?

We constantly monitor your website up-time, loading time and security vulnerabilities. If something feels odd we promptly contact you and let you know what needs to be done to solve the issue.

Which premium plugins and themes are included?

If you subscribe to a “WOptimize Plus” or a “WOptimize Enterprise” plan you are entitled to use any of these premium plugins and themes for WordPress free of charge and for the entire time you keep the subscription active with us.

What is the Ongoing Speed Optimization?

We do whatever it takes to make your website faster. We follow all the best practices to improve loading speed on all your pages, configure your hosting, set up the best caching method, provide a superfast Content Delivery Network (CDN) powered by Sucuri, and set up an automated lossless image compression system with WEBP support.

What is the Bulletproof Security Suite?

It’s our way to harden your WordPress installation and make it bulletproof. We do a first hardening following all the security best practices, set up an anti-spam system, and provide a powerful Website Application Firewall (WAF) powered by Sucuri to protect you from external attacks. Malware removal and hack repairs are included.

How can I send a support request?

Just fill this form or send an email to support@woptimize.io. You will never receive an automated response and you will never feel behind a complicated help desk system. Restore requests are always free, and other issues are taken care of based on your available Support & Development hours.

Do Support & Development Hours included in the plan expire?

Your monthly Support & Development Hours included in “WOptimize Plus” and “WOptimize Enterprise” plans must be used within the billing cycle of 1 year and they can be shared with all the websites you are WOptimizing with us, regardless of the plan.

What does priority support means?

It means that you can skip the queue! When you send us a support request we will answer you first, even if we have other non-priority support requests waiting to be answered. If you think that your website deserve our best attention you should choose a “WOptimize Enterprise” plan, which includes priority support.

Which hosting company do you prefer?

We can work with websites hosted on any hosting company but we have some preferences. Depending on your budget and requirements we usually suggest Siteground, Flywheel or Pagely. If you buy a “WOptimize Enterprise” plan we will tell you if your hosting is a performance bottleneck and we will offer a free migration to a better one

What type of tasks are included in Support & Development Hours?

You can use the hours included in your plan for any change and fix to your WordPress website. This includes:

  • UI troubleshooting (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Theme/plugin troubleshooting
  • Theme/plugin audits
  • Theme/plugin installation and implementation
  • Plugin/code conflicts
  • Content population & image manipulation
  • Creation of basic graphics (e.g. buttons, banners, etc.)

We use your hours in fractions of 15 minutes each. The time used will be subtracted from any time included in your subscription plan. When a task is completed we update you on your remaining time. If you don’t have enough time left to let us complete a task, we will send you a time/cost estimate at our regular hourly rate of €59.

What is not included?

We don’t support websites not running on WordPress and these type of task are not included:

  • Complete site design or redesign
  • Logo design
  • Copywriting
  • Translations
  • Advanced photo editing
